A letter condemning US President Joe Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war and calling for a cease-fire was signed by 400 federal personnel from 40 departments and agencies.

According to a statement from the US Treasury Department, the latest sanctions are aimed at “key Hamas officials and the mechanisms by which Iran provides support to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad,” as well as the group’s Iranian backers.
Regarding the latest sanctions, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that Iran supports Hamas and PIJ’s terrorist activities, among other ways, by transferring money and giving both weapons and operational training, mostly through its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
