Savannah Chrisley posted cutesy pictures of herself and her new partner Robert Shiver on Saturday, which prompted her fans to discuss why she posted them less than two months after her former boyfriend Nic Kerdiles passed away.
When Savannah Chrisley flaunts her new partner Robert Shiver, she is not implying any disrespect for her late ex-boyfriend Nic Kerdiles.
The Chrisley Knows Best actress faced backlash over the weekend after sharing affectionate photos of herself and Shiver on Saturday, just two months after her ex-fiance passed away.
“I just wanted to get on this to dispel a few myths. In a video posted on her Instagram Story, Chrisley, 26, said, “I posted those photos last night, and obviously tonnes of positive comments, but there’s also a lot of comments about Nic and I.”
“Let me just clarify that Nic and I haven’t been together for a very long time. We tried dating, attempted to stay in one other’s lives, called off our engagement, and it simply didn’t work out. It just didn’t work, even though we loved each other more than anything in the world.
Chrisley also provided specific details regarding the breakdown of her friendship with Kerdiles after their breakup, saying, “We finally just stopped talking in general in January.” I was therefore not with Nic. We might have been apart for two years at this point.
Chrisley said that they were both seeing other people before to Kerdiles’ tragic passing. Both of us had moved on. It’s just a fact of life, and I was delighted for him. As I have stated, my feelings for Nic and his family are just love and respect.

At the age of 29, Kerdiles lost his life in a motorbike accident on 23 September. Despite Chrisley’s public admission of their relationship’s difficulties, she paid tribute to him in an Instagram post following his passing.
“We had some really great, bright moments, and we had some really hard ones,” she wrote in part on her Instagram account, “but the part of our relationship I will hold on to will always be the moments in the middle.”
Fans can now see a peek at Chrisley’s new relationship with Shiver. She posted two pictures of herself and the former football star with a message about moving forward along with the Instagram explanation. “You’re worthy of happiness. You have the right to lead a fulfilling life. Never forget that, she wrote as the picture’s caption, crediting Coco Calla for the saying.
Chrisley and Shiver became official on Instagram earlier this week when Shiver shared a picture of them sharing a kiss. She captioned it, saying, “Sometimes, it just works ❤️ #THTD.”
Before PEOPLE magazine disclosed in September that Savannah was dating the former athlete, Chrisley had only shared one picture of them holding hands on her Instagram Story.
Shiver, who is 38 years old, became famous when it was rumored that he and two others were planning his murder with his wife, Lindsay Shiver. It’s still not clear whether Lindsay has admitted to any wrongdoing or said she’s innocent.
